Media Scholarships

The Comcast NBCUniversal & Telemundo Media Scholarships will be awarded to the best applicants, while the amount will depend on financial need. Comcast NBCUniversal & Telemundo aims to support careers in media and entertainment.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible applicants include people who will be attending a college, university or accredited training program in media including but not limited to: advertising, directing, radio, writers, info tech, broadcasting, digital media, graphic design, website development, journalism, communications or public relations. Note that this scholarship excludes performing arts disciplines (acting, comedy, improv, music, etc.)

To be considered, applicants must reside in Los Angeles County and be able to attend the Youth Scholarships Luncheon on May 7, 2026, 11AM–1PM at the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Anita May Rosenstein Campus (1118 N. McCadden. Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90038). Transportation will not be provided.
