Employment Support That Meets You Where You Are
TEEP recognizes that employment journeys look different for everyone. Whether you’re entering the workforce for the first time, changing careers, returning after a gap in employment, or looking to advance professionally, we’re here to help you build the skills and confidence needed for long-term success.
More Than a Resume
Employment is about more than finding your next job. Through TEEP, participants strengthen interviewing skills, build professional resumes and cover letters, develop job search strategies, explore career pathways, and connect with employment resources in an affirming environment. When clients need services outside the scope of TEEP, we help connect them with the appropriate Trans Wellness Center programs.
Employment Support Through Community
TEEP provides group-based employment support where participants can learn practical job search skills, receive professional feedback, connect with peers, and build confidence throughout their employment journey. When appropriate, we provide referrals to other departments within the Los Angeles LGBT Center to ensure clients are connected with the services they need.
Building Skills for Long- Term Success
Participants receive practical tools that can be used throughout their careers, including resume development, interview preparation, professional communication, networking strategies, career exploration, and employment readiness.
