Primary Care
The Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Jeffrey Goodman Special Care Clinic is one of the few Federally Qualified Health Centers with providers who specialize in primary care for LGBTQ+ folks and people living with HIV.
We're the experts in care for the LGBTQ+ community.
The Los Angeles LGBT Center offers a full range of primary medical care services, all catered to the unique needs of queer and trans people. You can always talk candidly and comfortably with your doctor and other providers at the Center knowing that you’re in a safe space that provides quality care, regardless of your ability to pay. Plus, the Center's holistic model of care allows us to provide referrals to other LGBTQ-competent providers in our organization—whether it's mental health, psychiatry, nutrition, or other related services.

Introducing MyChart
The Los Angeles LGBT Center has launched a powerful upgrade. We’re moving to Epic, a leading electronic health record system, and introducing MyChart—a new, all-in-one patient portal.
What This Means
MyChart will be the new digital front door for patients, making it easier to: Message care teams, view health information securely, manage appointments and follow-ups, and stay connected—all in one place Patients will continue to have access to many of the same tools they use today—now in a more streamlined and connected experience.
What’s Changing (and What’s Not)
Starting in June 2026: MyChart becomes the primary patient portal. FollowMyHealth will still accessible, but will only include information through June 2026. Telehealth visits will continue on Zoom. Patients will continue receiving reminders as they do today, with additional options including text messages, email, and MyChart notifications once enrolled.
Transition Week (Starting June 2026)
As the new system launches, patients may notice: Expect slightly longer wait times (clinic, phones, pharmacy). Prescription approvals will also take a bit more time Please note, this is temporary as staff transition to the new system.
Why This Matters
This transformation enhances the patient experience by delivering more coordinated, seamless care, providing faster, more accurate information, and allowing care teams to spend more time focused on patients
