In honor of Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, the Los Angeles LGBT Center is set to host the first-ever Golden Hour, a queer night market celebrating the AANHPI community in Los Angeles.
Organized in partnership with the LA-based Mayumi Market, Golden Hour celebrates the unique intersection of queer identity and heritage with food, local vendors, live entertainment, and more. The event will be held at The Village at Ed Gould Plaza on Friday, May 3 at 6–10PM.
AANHPI Heritage Month is a time to reflect upon and celebrate the diverse and invaluable contributions of the AANHPI community to our history and society. Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander encompasses a wide range of languages, cultures, and identities, but each May we come together in solidarity to uplift one another and celebrate our collective strength.
