HIV and STD Testing - Los Angeles LGBT Center

One out of eight people who are HIV-positive and living in the U.S. don’t know it. We’re working to lower that percentage by offering free HIV and STD testing in locations throughout Los Angeles. Those who test positive for any infections can quickly get access to the Center’s world-class specialty care and support services.

The Los Angeles LGBT Center offers free, fast, and comprehensive testing for HIV and other STDs. In addition to our rapid HIV test (results in less than a minute), we use the most accurate and reliable test available to detect HIV as early as seven days after exposure. We’ll also test for gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis—those results are available in a week.

Your sexual health is our priority at the Center, where you can always feel completely comfortable discussing whatever factors may be influencing your wellness. And should you test positive for HIV or any other STDs, you’re able to receive immediate care and treatment from us.

We encourage sexually active people to get tested every three months. Visit freetesting.org for more information about our testing services.
