A one-night only workshop of the new play FAR WORSE THINGS. Kal and Jonah haven’t seen each other for a year after the death of their friend and fellow urban explorer. But tonight they are reuniting for one more adventure into the depths of the notorious abandoned Link-Synder building, which happens to be the filming location of their favorite cult horror movie. Kal aims to recreate the film’s lost scene for their Youtube channel, while Jonah just wants to get out of there alive. As the strange story of the building begins to unravel, they realize there might be something still alive in this dead place — and getting out of these man-made ruins may be harder than they thought. FAR WORSE THINGS is a gothic horror and dark comedy that fuses Hollywood monsters and haunted house stories to excavate the human obsession with ruin and neglect and our fallible relationship with memory and history.
