In Charlie Josephine’s Cowbois – a queer, contemporary Western – all the women in a remote Old West town have been abandoned for over a year as their husbands search for gold. The women are isolated, their rations are running out, and the local sheriff meant to protect them is drunk as a skunk. Enter: Jack Cannon, a charming, convention-bucking outlaw looking for somewhere to lay low. Jack brings an appealing danger and a queer revolution to the sleepy town. But with bandits, bounty hunters, and binaries closing in, how long can this transformation last?
