The Susan Cruz Scholarship Fund

The Susan Cruz Scholarship provides financial support to LGBTQ+ youth pursuing higher education. This scholarship fund was created to help young people achieve their educational and career goals and is rooted in the belief that all youth deserve access to a supportive, affirming educational experience.

Eligibility Requirements

Scholarships are intended for students who would otherwise be unable to afford college tuition, books, and related expenses. Eligible applicants include individuals enrolling in an undergraduate degree program or university, or in an accredited training program. Students of all majors and fields of study are eligible to apply.

To be considered, applicants must reside in Los Angeles County and be able to attend the Youth Scholarships Luncheon on May 7, 2026, 11AM–1PM at the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Anita May Rosenstein Campus (1118 N. McCadden. Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90038). Transportation will not be provided.
