Highly Favored

In commemoration of Black History Month, the Los Angeles LGBT Center will host its inaugural Highly Favored program and ball on Saturday, February 24, from 6–10PM at The Village at Ed Gould Plaza in Hollywood. Honoring the trailblazing lesbian entertainer Raven-Symoné, the celebration culminates with an Open to All (OTA) mini-ball curated by the House of Marc Jacobs—offering five inclusive categories, cash prizes, and a superstar roster of guest judges from the LA ball scene.

ONE Archives Foundation & the Los Angeles LGBT Center present: Circa: Queer Histories Festival, a month-long programming series showcasing the trailblazing histories and vibrant cultural contributions of LGBTQ+ communities through the lens of present-day challenges and triumphs.

Every Body Intersex Awareness Day

Every Body

Come join us for a special event celebrating Intersex Awareness Day! We will be starting the evening with the screening of Focus Features' documentary "Every Body" – The stories of three individuals who have moved from childhoods marked by shame, secrecy and non-consensual surgeries to thriving adulthoods. The screening will be followed by a talk-back with, documentary participant, writer & activist, Alicia Roth Weigel – who will be touching on their journey and the issues faced by the intersex community – and the fantastic Julie Cohen, Academy Award nominee, Emmy and Peabody winning documentary Director. We will then invite you to mingle during a cocktail reception where free drinks will be served.

Our revamped Models of Pride Festival will bring us into a new world of fun—with an all-new venue, exciting and interactive activities, dancing and music from awesome DJ’s, and heartwarming performances! Honoring the Models of Pride stage this year are amazing artists like LGBTQ+ activist and entertainer Dylan Mulvaney who will be giving the keynote address. Our headlining performance will be by singer-songwriter Hayley Kiyoko, and hosting this amazing event will be Emmy Award-winning creator Ruba Wilson! Register before all of the spots are taken!!
