David Bohnett CyberCenter
The David Bohnett CyberCenter at the Los Angeles LGBT Center is a free community technology hub designed especially for LGBTQ+ older adults.
A Welcoming, Tech-Enabled Space for Digital Equity
Who It’s For
While everyone is welcome, the CyberCenter primarily supports older adults who may not have reliable devices, connectivity, or private space at home. We also host special programs for trans and nonbinary community members through our Trans* Lounge.
What You Can Do Here
Apply for benefits and services; attend virtual health appointments (telehealth); join support groups and workshops in our Zoom Room; print, scan, and complete forms; learn new digital skills with staff and volunteers; connect with friends, family, and community events.
Why It Matters
Many seniors live alone, are under- or uninsured, and face barriers to participating in today’s digital world. The CyberCenter bridges that gap, offering a trusted, supportive space to access essential services, maintain social ties, and participate in lifelong learning.
Accessibility & Support
Ground-floor access with seating and adjustable workstations; staffed hours with friendly volunteers available for basic help; one-on-one support by appointment for form-filling, telehealth setup, and device basics
How to Visit
Walk in during open hours or make an appointment for one-on-one help or group sessions (recommended for legal fairs and workshops)
