Fire Under Water is a personal and mythic story of transformation, inspired by the story of the Dragon King’s Daughter—a young girl who defies patriarchal doubt- to "become a Buddha in an instant". Through this ancient tale, Jaxin explores their own complex journey through girlhood, tracing their evolution as a trans-masculine person and reclaiming their divinity. Weaving humor, reverence, and resistance. Fire Under Water is an exploration of becoming—where gender, spirit, and mythology collide to illuminate a deeper, divine transformation.
