In his latest monologue, award-winning theatre artist, Tony Abatemarco reads excerpts from his memoir-in-progress, "In The Not-Too-Distant, A Rememboir", interspersing some of his original songs sung a cappella with tales told from childhood, the rocky road of defining sexual identity, and a checkered performance career spanning nearly fifty years. These themes and modalities are juxtaposed with the challenges of reckoning with his advancing age. How much creativity can be crammed into a life that is on an accelerated course to extinction? An artist/storyteller takes stock.
