Employment - Los Angeles LGBT Center

No organization offers a wider range of services for LGBT and questioning youth than the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Whether you’re one of the thousands of LGBT young people experiencing homelessness in L.A., you’re looking for an adult mentor, you’re not feeling safe at school, or you just want a fun and welcoming space to connect with others your age, we can help.

Be sure to check out our annual Models of Pride conference—it’s the world’s largest free conference for LGBTQ youth.

If you’re a lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender young person struggling to find a job, we offer a wide range of services to help.

Finding a job can be tough for anyone, but it can be especially challenging for LGBT youth with little or no job experience. The Los Angeles LGBT Center’s youth employment program offers everything you need to successfully enter the job market—even appropriate clothes for a job interview.

We’ll help you evaluate the best jobs for you, offer training in office software if you need it, and help you develop a resume and interview skills. We can also help you get an interview with one of the growing number of employers who give special consideration to our job candidates. And once you get your job, we’ll support you in keeping it.

Also ask us about our internship program. We may be able to help you get the job you want by getting you valuable on-the-job training through an internship.
