RISE offers comprehensive support and services to LGBTQ+ youth and their families

These services are delivered through a team approach, and are de-signed to help Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning youth expand family connections and increase support for their LGBTQ+ identity


The Center’s RISE initiative, launched in 2009, was funded by the Children's Bureau, Administration on Children, Youth and Families, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, under grant number 90-CT-0154.
