Meet Margaret

I was looking for peace. I found the Center and have never left.

As the largest LGBT organization in the world, we have many opportunities for you to join our community of more than 900 active monthly volunteers.

The Center has registered more than 14,000 volunteers since implementing our volunteer program. As an organization founded and sustained by volunteers, we are grateful to the innumerable individuals who donated their time and services before volunteer tracking began and are proud to work with an exponentially growing community of volunteers.

Support the Center's programs, services, and events through these volunteer activities:

  • General Assistance: Help with data entry, monthly newsletter mailings, and safe sex kits.
  • Program Support: Activities require specialized skills and/or experience to support specific programs.
  • Special Events: Support for annual events with tasks that include, but are not limited to set-up, general support, guest registration, and breakdown.

Take your first step to becoming a Center volunteer by attending our next Volunteer Information Session:

Wednesday, January 17
6:30 – 8:30 p.m at the Renberg Theatre
