The Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Out Under the Stars summer outdoor film series, held at the iconic Hollywood Forever Cemetery, continues on Friday, August 11, with a showing of the 1985 murder comedy flick Clue, based on the board game of the same name. Actress Lesley Ann Warren, who portrayed Miss Scarlet in the film, will make a special appearance prior to the screening.

Clue is a cult classic ‘whodunit’ that brings together an ensemble of comedic talent—Tim Curry, Lesley Ann Warren, Christopher Lloyd, Eileen Brennan, and Madeline Kahn, just to name a few—and keeps you on the edge of your seat,” said Rani DeMesme-Anders, staff liaison of the Center’s Los Angeles Women’s Network. “Dust off your detective hat and let’s solve Mr. Boddy’s murder together out under the stars!”

VIP ticket holders will receive an early entrance at 6:30 p.m.; one complimentary drive-on parking pass; reserved premier picnic seating for two with blanket and pillows; a picnic package which includes dinner and snacks; complimentary Barefoot Bubbly champagne, Topo Chico Mineral Water, and Hansen’s Natural Soda; and access to the hosted Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktail bar. General admission doors open at 7 p.m.

All proceeds benefit the Center’s work to build a world in which LGBT people thrive as healthy, equal, and complete members of society.

“If you’ve relished playing the board game, then you’re in for a treat as your favorite characters come to life on the big screen,” said Tommy Johnson, chair of the Center’s Young Professionals Council. “Clue is a murder mystery farce that will keep you guessing and chuckling all the way to the film’s finale, but let me be the first to predict that the cold-blooded killer is Colonel Mustard in the library with a lead pipe!”

Tickets for the event are currently on sale at lalgbtcenter.org/movie.
