Loving Your Blackness

Saturday, February 25
12-5 p.m.

Loving Your Blackness is a FREE celebration in honor of Black History Month hosted by the Los Angeles LGBT Center! This celebration will include informative workshops, local artists, live performances, music, a resource fair, and an assembly to honor the history and culture of Blackness. Please join us to heal, educate, and empower our community in an all-inclusive space!

11:30 a.m.            Doors Open

12:00-1:15 p.m.  Opening Ceremony and Panel

1:15-2:30 p.m.    Performances, Art Installations, and Resource Fair

2:30-3:30 p.m.    Workshops, Art Installations, and Resource Fair

3:45-5:00 p.m.    Assembly

Black and Silver: Trans Activist Elders Speak! panel featuring Sir Lady Java, Eva Aubry, and Duchess

Honoring Sage Johnson with The Marsha B. Johnson Award, an award given to a burgeoning community activist

Assembly presented by the Center’s Youth Ambassadors Coalition
